It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glen Allan Abel of Fairbanks, Alaska, born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Abel and Ethel Abel; and his siblings, Deke Abel, Kerry Abel and Susan Abel-Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Abel; his children, Glyn Komkai (Pav), Jennifer Wilson and Heather Abel; his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew Wilson and Kieran Komkai; his sister Jeannine Steers; and his nieces, Monica Hill, Candace Wyke, Barbara Edmunds and Vivian Hollifield. He is also survived by many grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 10043 Idlewild Rd, Matthews, NC 28105.
