We announce the death of Theodore Jenkins of Fairbanks, Alaska, who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 94. Theodore will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Viva Jenkins and William Jenkins; his siblings, Exie Hardiman, Elton Jenkins, Bessie Hill, Norma Jenkins and Tessie Warren; his son TJ Jenkins Jr.; and his granddaughters, Breanna and Alicia Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jenkins; his children, Rudy, Donnita, Trannie, Shane and Sean; and his grandchildren, David, Isaac, Anastasia, Ila, Norianna, O'Jaydien, Calina, Nicholas and Ka'Shon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Legacy Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home (415 Illinois St, Fairbanks, AK 99701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jp Jones Community Center (2400 Rickert St, Fairbanks, AK 99701).
