He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wasmer and Freida Wasmer (Bishop); his former wife Nancy; his daughter Jenny; and his close friend Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Wei; his children, Bill (Jamie), Melanie (Wallace), Tena (Timothy) and JinXin (Alex); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Joseph, Shannon (Brett), Aaron, Bethany (Mike), Larissa, Danean, Emily (William), Franklin "Frank", Calvin (Cheyenne), Monica, Katherine "Katie" and Chris. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
