He was predeceased by : his father Ernie Mason Payne; and his grandparents, Ernest and Ruth Payne. He is survived by : his mother Myrna Payne; his daughter Ellie Payne; his sister Cheryl Wood; his brother-in-law Bill Wood; his nieces and nephews, Kiana, Angel Wood, Denzel and Luis Wood; and his uncles, Michael (Nancy) and Danny Payne (Dolly).

Viewing was held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fairbanks Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024.
