He was predeceased by: his father Edwin. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Amber; his grandchild Braydon; his daughter Kimberly (Mario); his grandchildren, Alexander, Xavier, Tyler (Kaile), Allie, Evan, Crystal (Nickolas), Nicole, Vincent, Brandon (Kezia), Sofia and Ezra; his siblings, Ken (Tammie), Gayle, Deanna (Carl), Pete (Rosi) and Marvin; his mother Margaret; his sister Karen Godfrey; and his daughter Nickie. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints (609 N Forest Dr, Kenai, AK 99611).
In time, he helped form the Kenai River Foundation, which created the Wounded Heroes program to serve returning and active-duty wounded veterans.
