With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Diehl of Kenai, Alaska, born in Grapevine, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Sutton and Edith Sutton of Texas; and her sister Jean Watkins of Texas. She is survived by: her daughter Mariah; her son-in-law Steven Reed of Kenai; her daughter Clarissa Maxey of Hilo, Hawaii; her siblings, Lonnie Sutton of Texas, Vicki Eliot of New York and Jerri Sutton of Texas; her grandchildren, Aaron Fridlund of Kenai, Megan Beita (Diego) of Anchorage and Kassandra "Kassy" Montgomery of Cave Junction, Ore.; and her great grandchildren, Ellie and Ivy Beita of Anchorage.
