Stephen Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 14, 2025, at the age of 60, Stephen Butler of Kenai, Alaska, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hudson Butler and Linda Allen Canterbury; his stepmother Jan Butler; and his stepbrother Matt Glazener. He is survived by: his significant other Shana Kolipano; his son Mason Allen Butler (Stephen); his stepfather Jerry Canterbury (Shana Butler); his brothers, Taylor Allen Butler, Marcus Ainsworth Butler and Mitra Mechanic; his stepbrother Phil Glazener; and his nieces and nephews, Brad, Tiffany Butler, Tabitha Butler, Creston Butler, Clayton, Erin Butler, Miles Butler and Mitchell Butler.
Stephen's creativity and craftsmanship were evident throughout his life, most notably in his contributions to the construction of some of Ninilchik's original production facilities for Hilcorp, where his skill and dedication will leave a lasting mark.Stephen will always be remembered for his kind heart and his extraordinary artistry.
