Lynn Hurt wrote a sympathy message

“Rosie was simply a legend and institution in our community and Dallas High School. Her students loved her and with her help excelled in mastering their voices as a musical instrument. It was my privilege and honor to be able to work with her and be welcomed into her class to assist whenever and however I could. The memories we all share of such a wonderful person live on forever and there is no doubt in my mind she is leading and singing with a choir of angels. Lynn Hurt, DHS Principal 86-92”

Janeen Baker wrote a sympathy message

“Mrs. Rosenbalm was one of my favorite teachers. She taught me to truly love music, and that love lives on in my own children—my son now sings in Willamette’s choir and a cappella group. Her kindness, patience, that wink and smile before every performance are things I’ll never forget. Her legacy continues in every note we sing. We don’t always realize in the moment when someone is changing our life. But looking back, it’s clear she did. Rest in peace, Mrs. Rosenbalm. Thank you for the music.”
