Pauline Jean left this world on June 20, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arne Murto and Thelma Murto; her husband Gus Hanson; and her sisters, Marjorie Murto and Ellen Grouws.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Hanson (Zizi) of Ninilchik and Teresa Presley of Ninilchik; her sisters, Virginia Brown (Roy) of Spearfish, SD, Norma Newman, Linda Rohlfing of Seattle, WA, Marianne Murto of Ninilchik and Ingrid Jensen (Mike) of Willow, AK; her brother-in-law Charles Grouws of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Kayci Hanson (Adam Christensen) of Ninilchik, Ying Ying Hanson of Ninilchik, Cody Presley of Anchorage, Tyler Presley and Jordan Trappett of Ninilchik. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ninilchik Community Center (15765 Kingsley Rd, Ninilchik, AK 99639).
