She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lindsay Walker and Francis Walker; her husband Lynn Tompkins; her children, Scott Tompkins (Madeline) and Kelly Hooper (Jeffrey) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Ethan Hooper, Evan Hooper, Lucas Tompkins and Cameron Tompkins; and her sisters, Diane Garcia and Suzan Chadwell. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and her church family.
