He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. MacDougal and Mary "Kay" MacDougal (Goodine); his wife Doreen MacDougal (Sturgeon); his daughter Ruth Whitmore; his brothers, Arthur "Blackie", David and Thomas MacDougal; and his sister-in-law Pauline MacDougal.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy W. MacDougal of Anchorage, Alaska and Sherry MacDougal of Willow, Alaska; his son-in-law Jim Whitmore of Washburn; his siblings, Eugene MacDougal of Fort Fairfield and Linda Morris of Marysville, CA; his sisters-in-law, Arlene MacDougal of Fort Fairfield, Deborah MacDougal of Fort Fairfield and Gayle MacDougal of Limestone; and his grandsons, Jimmy, James, John, Jason and Josh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
