He is survived by: his siblings, Caroline Bashon (Merrill) and Ted; his children, Cindy Oliver (Merrill) and Craig Merrill (Jenneka Dohner); his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Merrill, Chris Shanahan, Savanna Johnston (Merrill), Garrett Johnston, Jordan Oliver (Merrill), Jessica Oliver and Macy Oliver; and his wife Kathy (Walsh). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews and their extended families.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wallin Funeral Home & Cremation (1811 NE 16th Ave, Oak Harbor, WA 98277).
