The memory of Max D. Carpenter of Soldotna, Alaska, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carpenter and Maxine Carpenter; his sister Lahoma Herdt (Jerry); his niece Kimberley Herdt; and his great-nephews, Max Carpenter, Jr., Michael Havird and Samuel Havird.
He is survived by: his brother Doug Carpenter; his caregiver Daughn Carpenter; his grandchildren, Samantha Johnson (Russell) and Benjamin Stalker; his great grandchild Keene Johnson; his daughter Susan Nicholson (Clyde); his grandchildren, Killian Kirkpatrick and Georgia Kirkpatrick; his nieces, Kathryn Herdt and Pamela Herdt; and his grandson Zachary Carpenter.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at 42126 Kalifornsky Beach Rd, Soldotna, AK 99669.
