He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Handley and Verna Handley. He is survived by: his significant other Hilda Medley; his children, Heather Worthington (Skylar) of Pullman and Kirk Handley (Amber); his grandchildren, Colter, Kamden Handley of Hines, Kennedy, Knox, Carter and Brooks Worthington of Pullman, Washington.; and his sister Ann Tribby (Dale) of Miles City, Montana..

Scott was living happily in Soldotna with his partner Hilda Medley who loved and cared for him during his battle with Parkinson's disease.
