He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Knapp (Jo Knapp) and Nellie Sitquqpak Ferreira Knapp; his grandparents, Frank Knapp of Kotzebue, Joseph and Natalia Wasilly Schaefer of Dillingham; and his cousins, Lionel McCafferty (Sandy), Sandra Lynn McCafferty, Robert McCafferty, William Preston Knapp and Dorothy Volkheimer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Andy Knapp of Kasilof, Joe Knapp of San Ramon, California, Ross Knapp (Nancy) of Kasilof, Carl Knapp (Teri Crandell) of Napa, California, Denice Drury (Ben) of Anchorage, Nellie Knapp-Mills (Chad) of Tulalip, Washington and Natalia Knapp (Darrell Oldham) of Tulalip; and his cousins, Frankie, Arlene McCafferty of Hawaii, Myrtis M. Q. Greg of Anchorage, Charlene Bortz of Anchorage, Charlie Volkheimer of Kasilof, Donald, Julie Volkheimer, Dennis Volkheimer and June Knapp of Juneau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
