He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie T. "Leb" Freese and Lora Freese (Ritter). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Johnston Freese; his daughter Michelle Parks; his grandson Logan Parks; his brother Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Faith Freese of South Dakota and Loren Johnston of Oroville, Calif..
