As John Arnold departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though John Arnold may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Japp and Nancy Japp. He is survived by : his former life partner Linda Kakaruk; his children, Henry L. Kakaruk, Paul A. Japp and Daisy M. Japp; and his grandchildren, Zoe Kahler, Darrius Smith, Angela Kakaruk and Dawson Mcginnis.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home, Heritage Wasilla Chapel (1015 S Check St, Wasilla, AK 99654). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Palmer Cemetery.
