Sheryl (Knutson) Barnes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheryl (Knutson) Barnes of Wasilla, Alaska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheryl (Knutson) Barnes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Knutson and Grace Knutson (Peterson); her husband Linley Barnes; her son Bradley; and her brother Russell.

She is survived by: her sons, David Barnes (Susan) of Wasilla, Alaska, Bruce Barnes (Judie) of North Branch, Minnesota and John Barnes of Waseca, Minnesota. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church Youth Program.
