She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Wood and Mary Ellen Wood; her husband Wayne Waylon Johnson; her daughter Shelia Rudd; and her great grandchild Blake Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Cherrila Murphy (Robert) of Abbeville, Tracey Coursey of Ozark and Wayne Johnson of Enterprise; her son-in-law Ronald Rudd; her grandchildren, Richard Rudd, Kristen Ellis (Clint), Matthew Murphy (Leigh), Megan Gorrie (Mills), Sara Coursey, Emily Coursey, Hayden Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Gage Ettenberger and Allissa Schaeffer (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Ellis, Murphy Ellis, Makinley Ellis, Banks Murphy, Ellie Murphy, Mac Murphy, Sims Murphy, Miller Gorrie, James Gorrie, Alice Johnson and Piper Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Gentiva Hospice of Dothan.
