He is survived by: his wife Eva Lee Carter Hicks; his children, Misty Hicks (Florida), DaVee Tessmann and Joseph Hicks (Kentucky); his siblings, Susan Green (Georgia), Ginger Hallford (Georgia), Hugh Hicks (Georgia) and Tom Hicks (Florida); his grandchildren, Brandy Langley (BJ), Lindsey Hatfield, Kayla Dinello, Molly Hicks, Evann Tessmann, Carter Grace Tessmann and Jordan Christopher Miller (Cortney); his great grandchildren, Jacob Hayes and Matthew Hammack; and his brother-in-law Jim Carter (Peggy).
