He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Jackson Cochran and Mary Lee Chandler Cochran; his sisters, Virginia Hill and Velender Appling; and his half-brother Sylvester Cochran.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Hardy Weed Cochran; his children, Della Hagler of Headland, Penny Cochran of Headland, Monica Weed Cornett, Kinsey, Charles Cochran of Brewton, AL, Johnathan Cochran (Ashly) and Patrick Hardy of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Madalyn Cochran, Tucker Hagler, Evah Harris, Scarlet Cochran, Eloise Cochran, Rosie Cochran and Zachary Cornett; and his siblings-in-law, Alan, Cindy Hardy, Lynn, Brett Whatley and Kenny Hardy.
