He is survived by: his wife Mary Lucy Starling Rogers; his son Roy Lawrence Rogers (Faye); his siblings, Dean Strickland and Rodney Rogers (Faye) of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, Amanda Gamble (Drew), Samuel Rogers (Olivia) and Andrew Rogers (Talina).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Free Will Baptist Church (4635 County Rd 57, Abbeville, AL 36310). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
