She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuel Y. Roberts and Lola Kirby Roberts; and her husband James Walter "Jim" Griggs. She is survived by: her son James Roberts "Jim" Griggs (Renae); her grandsons, James Watson "Jim" Griggs (Stephanie) and Eric Y. Griggs (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Eli Griggs, Luca Griggs, Remy Griggs and Jesse Griggs.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oakey Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (3331 Co Rd 99, Newville, AL 36353).
