She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wyers and Esther Wyers; her husband Vernon McGough; and her grandsons, Michael Eddie Blake and Brian Nelson Blake.

She is survived by: her siblings, Shelba W. Green and Ronald Bruce Wyers; her children, Gwendolyn Blake, Gregory Brent McGough, Sr. and Sharon Denise Bearden; and her grandchildren, Andrea Alanna Davis, Loralyn Noelle Trotter, Nathan Lee Bearden, Dylan Lucas Bearden, Mathew Kirby Brent and Gregory Brent McGough, Jr.. She is also survived by 18 beautiful great-grandchildren.
