She was predeceased by: her husband Billy O. Mathis; and her parents, Mavis Tragesser and George M. Tragesser. She is survived by: her siblings, George E. Tragresser and Ann T. Kerklin; her nephews, Jonathan Rubino (Doree), Nathan Kerklin (Crystal), Michael Tragresser and Life Kerklin; her great-nephew Bronner Kerklin; and her friend Linda Evans.
