He is survived by: his wife June Woods Thomas; his children, Tim Thomas (Cindy) and Lisa Widner (Eddy); his siblings, Wayne Thomas, Clayton Thomas (Mary Lynn), Dalton Thomas (Jane) and Shelby Takala (Alan); his grandchildren, Courtney Cordell (Mathew), Lauren Godbee (Trent), Garrett Widner (Jessica), Haley Holcombe (Clay), Nick Widner and Katelyn Irish (Wiley); his great grandchildren, Rhett Widner, Grant Godbee, Reese Widner, Berklee Hayes, Rylee Widner, Branch Cordell, Gavin Godbee, Ian Hayes, Harlee Cordell and Huntlee Holcombe; and his brothers, Donnie Carroll and DJ Cornelius.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Addison (32657 US-278, Addison, AL 35540). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
