She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Walton and Eloise Walton. She is survived by: her husband Clint Dewayne Nelson; her children, Jennifer Nelson and Nicholas Nelson; her stepsons, Clint Nelson, Jr. and Christopher Nelson; her grandchildren, Katie, Emmaline, Sara, Sadie, Emma and Ethan; and her siblings, Martha Harbin, Jerry Walton (Jane), Robert Walton (Carolyn), James Walton and Gary Walton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Double Springs (25714 AL-195, Double Springs, AL 35553). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
