He is survived by: his mother Martha Collins; his son Dustin Wren (Olivia); his siblings, James Collins (Anita), Renee Jones (Johnny) and Renata Benefield (Ed); his nieces and nephews, Josh Owens (Tina), Michelle Gauvin (Steve), Cory Owens, Kasey Salamanca (Jason), Austin Benefield and Catlin Hammonds (Hunter); and his close friend Sherry Everett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Baptist Church (17015 Co Rd 41, Addison, AL 35540). The lying in state was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
