Larry Umphrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Umphrey of Addison, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Umphrey and IV Umphrey; and his brothers, Carl Umphrey and T. C. Umphrey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Umphrey; his daughters, Renae Kilpatrick (Robbie) and Tracey Bryan; his grandchildren, Wes Bryan (Patricia), Amy Dickey (James), Hayden Kilpatrick (Lacey) and Jake Bryan (Hailey); his great grandchildren, James Kilpatrick, Layla Harris, Willow Kilpatrick, Ava Perry, Emma McCay, Peyton Bryan, Bella Jacobs, Jaxon Bryan, Jonathan Dickey, Avary Dickey, Evelin Kilpatrick, Benjamin Dickey, Triton Bryan and Myah Bryan; and his sister Freda Burgess. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Addison (32657 US-278, Addison, AL 35540).
