With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Powell of Addison, Alabama, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Turner and Nancy Turner; her husband Jackie Powell; her parents-in-law, Fred, Ruth Powell and Baby Lee; and her son Jackie Dale Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Delina Cleghorn (Darrell), David Powell and D'Sheil P. Parker; her grandchildren, Demicca Baker, Damon Cleghorn (Melissa), Drew Powell (Bethany), Hannah Powell, Drea Lee and Dayson Parker (Ralie); her great grandchildren, Dacey Baker, Dathan Cleghorn, Drake Cleghorn, Anna Beth Powell, Allie Ruth Powell, Lincoln Lee, Laiyton Rae Lee, Hollis Parker, Coraline Parker and Millie Jane Parker; and her sister Sarah Hill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Addison First Baptist Church (115 2nd St, Addison, AL 35540). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
