James E. Humphries Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James E. Humphries of Adger, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie Humphries and Louise Humphries; his wife Mary Lou Humphries; his son Wesley Humphries; his siblings, Larry Humphries (Vann), Donnie Humphries (Susan) and Sandra Hegler; and his caregivers, Amber and Alisha. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Adger Volunteer Fire Department.
