He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn "Kitty" Causey Chandler; his parents, Preston Floyd and Mattie Irene Chandler; and his children-in-law, Wanda Chandler and Anthony Gladden.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Wayne Chandler (Lynn), Darryl Emery Chandler (Sam) and Teresa Chandler Gladden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404).
