With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bart Edward Ferguson of Alabaster, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bruce Edward Ferguson. He is survived by: his mother Gaynell Ferguson; his children, Kelsey Ferguson Barber (Michael), Chandler Edward Ferguson, Sydney Paige Ferguson (Ethan Brown), Brett Andrew Long (Brittany) and Abigail Elizabeth McCulloch; his grandchildren, Ellery Barber, Peyton Barber, Carter Long and Emma Long; his sister Rebecca Ferguson; and his pet Nemo. He is also survived by his family and will always be remembered as a loving husband, daddy, grandpa, brother, son, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charter Funeral Home (2521 US-31, Calera, AL 35040). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
