Bettye leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Bettye’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Bettye will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. T. Earl Tollett and Wilhelmina Walker Tollett; her husband Don Moore; and her siblings, H. T., Lexie Mae Miller and Florine Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Jan De Cenzo (Steve); and her grandsons, Alex De Cenzo and Nick De Cenzo.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Alabaster (903 3rd Ave NW, Alabaster, AL 35007). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Alabaster for Community Ministry.
