He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Brooks and Mary Odessa Merrill Brooks; and his siblings, Betty Brockman, Gwen Rose, Max Brooks and Ray Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Beth Reeves; his grandchildren, Zach Carnes (Mattie) and Katie Carnes; his great grandchildren, Annie Carnes and Hallie Carnes; and his sister-in-law Cobie Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his church family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Alabaster (903 3rd Ave NW, Alabaster, AL 35007). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
