He was predeceased by: his parents, Jolee Grodsky (Golomb) and Lawrence Grodsky; and his sister Karen Grodsky. He is survived by: his children, Zoe Grodsky and Isaac Grodsky; the mother of his children Carla Grodsky (Tyler); his sisters, Debra Reisman (Bart) and Lissa Perry (Matt); and his siblings' children, Jason, Jen Reisman, Shara, Seth Griffith, Daniel Bush, Ashley Bush, Ryan and Cassie Bush.

In lieu of flowers a GoFundMe has been set up in support of his children.
