He was predeceased by: his father Selmer Franklin Rowell. He is survived by: his son Chad; his mother Myrtle Annette McClellan; his wife Jo; his daughter Megan Hollingsworth (Chase); his granddaughters, Millie and Hallie Hollingsworth; and his siblings, William and Anita Campbell (David). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local humane societies.
