He was predeceased by: his parents, John Malcolm Jones and Minnie Louise Jones (Yeager). He is survived by: his children, Richard W. Jones, Jr. (Wayne) and Christina L. Jones Davis; his grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Shelley Davidson, Willow Davis and Kathryn Davis; and his siblings, Madalyn Mitchell, Betty Louise Morris, Frances Louise Swann and Malcolm "Leroy" Jones.
