It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Cornelius of Alabaster, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cornelius and Ava Cornelius; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Cornelius. He is survived by: his children, Randall (Tammy), David (Pam) and Laura McRae. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
