He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Ingram Harper and Samuel Henry Harper. He is survived by: his wife Jean Harper; his sons, Sam (Samantha) and Brant (Karen); his grandchildren, Tatum Harper, Maddux Harper and Brantley Harper; and the mother of his children Mary Jean Sutton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the Parkinsons Foundation.
