He is survived by : his mother Pauline "Taylor" Mixon; his children, Bishop Sylvester Mixon, Jr., April Mixon, Justin Norris, Bianca Norris, Brent Norris and O'Bryant Andrews; his grandchildren, Caleb Mixon, Joshua Mixon, Gracie Mixon, Alijah Silas, Jakayla Norris, Tatum Norris, Aaris Norris and Janae Norris; his aunts and uncles, Margeret "Jean" Wilson, Ora D Besley, Essie Mixon Cardwell, Robert Mixon and Wayne Mixon; his siblings, Juanzetta Hunter of Patterson, CA, Philip Mixon of Bessemer, AL, Ricky Taylor of Calera, AL, Jackie Christie of Mobile, AL and Linda Gail Desmond of Bessemer, AL.; and his close friends, Hason, Dedra Munk, Charlotte Ward and Marcus Lilly. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
