He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayford Vaughn and Lillian Vaughn; his grandparents, Jim, Lena Vaughn, Andy and Emma Baugh; his siblings, Janice Vaughn, Judy Kirkland, Dorothy Terrell, Kenneth Vaughn and Clyde Vaughn; his son-in-law Matt Crosby; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Traylor Vaughn; his children, Tabatha Crosby (Jason), Dee Vaughn (Lachale) and David Vaughn (Rhonda); his sisters, Diane Baldwin (Rodney), Kathy Schrimsher (David) and Darlene Miller (Tim); his sisters-in-law, Cathy Cahela and Betty Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Amber Daniel (Caleb), Jacob Crosby, Kim Vaughn (Ian), Kobey Vaughn, Shana Morring (Zach), Rachel Vaughn (Kriston), Crystal Vaughn, Blayden Woodall, Walker Woodall, Brylee Long and Darryl Blackwell. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
