She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Berry "A. B." Whitmire and Rosa Lee Paul Whitmire; her husband G. V. Oliver; her daughter Sandra Lee; her sons-in-law, Ronald Hyde and Jim Oakley; and her brothers, Paul Whitmire (Louise) and J. Whitmire (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hyde, Karen Oakley and LaWayne Oliver (Mary); her son-in-law Mike Lee; and her grandchildren, Chass Hyde, Leslie Gregory (Ky), Joshua Hyde, Terry Lee, Hanna Denton (Brandon) and Casey Oliver (Brooke). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Chapel (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Mrs. Oliver's memory.
