She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Smith and Norma Lee Monroe Smith; her siblings, Kenneth Smith (Janie) and Woneta Jones (Benson); and her sister-in-law Brenda Smith (Jerry).
She is survived by: her son Darrell Cooper (Leigh); her stepdaughter Shannon Bohannon; her grandchildren, Jordan Rockett (Kevin), Kyle Cooper (Angelique) and Sidney Colthorpe (Will); and her siblings, Jerry Smith, Danny Smith (Connie), Jacky Smith (Renae), Dwight Smith and Lisa Cooper (Carl). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Shepard's Cove Hospice.
