He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Woods and Esther Woods; and his sister Rosa Woods Caufield (Bob). He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Aman Woods; his children, Charles R. Woods, Jr. (Fern) and Melissa A. Vaughn; and his grandchildren, John C. Woods, Nathan B. Vaughn, Anna L. Woods and Alison M. Woods.

The family requests that donations be made to the Great Physician Clinic of First Baptist Church, Albertville, in lieu of flowers.

“Thanking God for Brother Charles' life and testimony today. He always was so interested in our international mission work, prayed for us while we were overseas, and shared such lovely music and ministry with us when we visited First Baptist Albertville. We also appreciate his many years as close-by neighbors to our mom Mrs. Margie Stepleton. We were able to watch the services on line and it was all a wonderful remembrance and gave all the glory to God, which is what Brother Charles wanted.”
