He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur David "A. D." Cheek, Sr. and Mary Lariee Morrell Cheek; and his siblings, Arthur David "Sonny" Cheek, Jr., Sarah Nell Cheek Smart, Thurman Delane Cheek and Brenda Jean Cheek.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cheek; his son Tracy Cheek (Jill); his stepson Jonathan Lynn (Emily); his grandchildren, Peyton Cheek, Sarah-Elizabeth Cheek, Will Lynn (Kelsie), Cathryn Lynn, Natalie Lynn and Andrew Lynn; his sister Terri Cox; and his former wife Martha Sue Cheek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Baltimore Avenue Church of God (612 Baltimore Ave, Albertville, AL 35950). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
