He is survived by: his sons, Jason Moon and Josh Moon (Tonya); his wife Shelia Moon; his siblings, J. W. Moon, Jr. and Gail Simmons (Wendell); his grandchildren, Cole Moon, Hallie Nixon (Evan), Jax Moon, Ava Moon, Caleb Moon, Rylee Blalock, Carson Gable, Brady Gable, Baylor Sims, Cloey Sims and Charleigh Sims; his children, Sheena Sims (Jared) and Robby Dempsey; his daughter-in-law Nichole Moon; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Moon and Cynthia Moon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
