She was predeceased by: her mother Corine Stephens; her husband Paul Thompson; and her sisters, Janette Tant and Sue Blair. She is survived by: her children, Pam Gafford (Joel) and Mark Thompson (Lana); her grandsons, Jack Stanislaus and Eli Stanislaus; and her sister Delana Roden.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to New Height Baptist Church of Albertville.
