She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Poole and Rosie Poole; her husband Edward Dennis; and her children, Anthony Smith and Cynthia Dennis.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sharon Boyd and Susan Forister (Stanley); her grandchildren, Adam Cox (Shaunda), Colton Smith, Junior Forister (Summer), Tosha Hudson (Will), Tiffany Gibson (Derek) and Cody Dennis (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Lexie, Josh Cox, Cam Shelton, Kayleigh, Kinsley Gibson, Coleson Dennis and Jacelynn Forister; and her brother Howard Poole (Sarah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended loving family and friends.
