“I met Floyd at the blue grass festival in Winfield Kansas may years ago. He was a very good friend after the first 10 minutes after I met him. Every year he would look me up or I would find him. And we would spend a good amount of time catching up on the past year. We had much in common, in the way we thought about things, and we always enjoyed the music and the company around us. He would call me every Thanksgiving and Christmas, wishing myself and my family well. He was a good, honest soul.”
